Worshipful Master's Message

Greetings Brethen!

As this year draws to a close and a new one fast approaching, I can’t help but look to the past four year of Huguenot and reflect upon all the wonderful people I’ve had the honor and privilege of sharing this journey with.

I’ve noticed that for whatever reason, Huguenot Lodge has a way of attracting the most diverse group of people that I have ever seen in one place. Personality types ranging from loud and outgoing, to quiet and reserved, skill sets and occupations such as Business administration and technology, Banking, teaching, music, trucking, landscaping, farming and while this esteemed range of differences can often lead to strife and conflict, Huguenot has a way of blending these differences such as to compliment the talents and virtues of each individual. This process of unification is not an easy task. It is a journey that requires patience, humility and introspection. A journey that each one of us is free to pursue at our own pace.

Regardless of where you, the reader of this message may find yourself on your path in life, I encourage you to pursue it with vigor, enthusiasm, and determination and do not go alone, do not be afraid to ask for help, offer assistance or share your thoughts and ideas with your fellow travelers.

Regarding the upcoming year, I humbly assume the responsibility as master to keep each one of you informed as to the happening of the Lodge. I also look forward to hearing from each and everyone of you, your thoughts, advice, and criticism are much appreciated throughout the upcoming year.

Sincerely and Fraternally,
Benejamin H. Henne, W.M.
